They take pride in the place, it shows from the cleanliness of the store, to the happy employees who were very helpful.
Great produce at reasonable prices. Good service and some food items are higher than other store. Great fry chicken.
This is a very nice small town grocery store.
Never been before..very nice layout and much more upscale than I imagined..its not lame like IGA or Piggly Wiggly
The deli is great! The restrooms are excellent! The place is clean and inviting, and we've started making it our regular stop going and coming back to NC. This happened on our December 2016 travels. We added it to our travel plans in February and April.
This place has been there since I moved to NC and I drive by when I go home to get my mother in the winter and summer. The BP across the street has been my gas stop since 2001. Their restrooms were always decent and the gas pumps are fast. The gas station chicken isn't bad either, but my wife was looking for some food items before we got to our destination, and we decided to go over to Ingles. I pumped gas and went over to pick up her and the kids. She decided we needed an upgrade on our stop after that.
I will definitely stop again before we continue our journey across the country.
The prices were surprisingly good, too. I'm used to prices being higher in the smaller independent type stores, but they were very reasonable...from the produce to the meats. Quite comparable to the Kroger's of the world.
It gets expensive grocery shopping here. Their staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable, but even their generic brand of foods and other groceries seem outrageously priced. 5 star staff / 1 star prices
